Is Albert suitable for beginners?
Very much so. He is simply knitted flat, on 4mm and 2.75mm knitting needles, making him an excellent project for a beginner who knows the basics of knitting: no need to knit in the round.
Basic knitting skills that you’ll need to know:
Stocking stitch, increasing by knitting into the front and back of a stitch (inc 1) and decreasing by knitting 2 stitches together (k2tog). There’s colour-changing on some rows, so you will need to use Intarsia technique to change yarns mid-row. Head on over to my how to knit tutorials if you need any advice!
All kit and parcel packaging is plastic-free, and recyclable.
The gift box measures 28cm x 19cm x 8cm.
Albert the robin is 11cm tall.
