Did you know that rubber ducks aren’t just for the bathroom? Daisy and Sam are a cuddly pair of ducks who’d be quite happy anywhere in your home - or in your pocket for a reassuring squeeze. Would you like to knit a pair of cute rubber ducks? It's easy – you'll find everything that you need to knit them inside this fun knit kit! 

Each bird knitting kit is carefully handmade and packed by me, and will contain all the yarn and notions that you need to knit a pair of cuddly rubber ducks  – a bright yellow one, and a light yellow one. No need to order all the different yarns and bits and pieces – you can sit back, relax, and start knitting straight away. It's all there for you!

You’ll need a pair of 4mm knitting needles, and a yarn darning needle to make your ducks. If you'd like to add these to your kit, each pair of 25cm long high quality Pony aluminium knitting needles are £2, and a pack of 2 Pony darning needles are £1.

Is this kit suitable for beginners?

Yes. Each duck is simply knitted flat, on 4mm knitting needles, making them a really good project for a beginner who knows the basics of knitting: no need to knit in the round. 

Basic knitting skills that you’ll need to know:

Stocking stitch, increasing by knitting into the front and back of a stitch (inc 1) and decreasing by knitting 2 stitches together (k2tog). Head on over to my how to knit tutorials if you need any advice!

The gift box measures 28cm x 19cm x 8cm.

Each rubber duck is 11cm from beak to tail.
